I Have My Snake!

I finally got my snake about a week ago. Me and my friend had a celebratory face-time call and during so, we named him Mahogany. He is a 5 or 6 year old ball python (also known as the royal python). He is 4 1/2 or 5 feet long. We gave him a bath on Saturday and he seemed to like is. I will post a photo of him on a page that I will make in t he upcoming days.

I AM GETTING A SNAKE!!!!!

A few days ago me and my mom were talking about getting a snake on craigslist. We had talked about the requirements of getting the one or two snakes. Then when we had finished the email to the person rehoming their snakes the offer had closed. I was unhappy but now I know I will get a snake in the furture!

Pawpaw Experiment

Me and my mom started a experiment in November on the pawpaw plant. We did this because we had two over ripe pawpaws that we needed to do something with. So, we decided that we could make a experiment out of it. We took the seeds out of the fruit (it was really slimy and gross) and found six giant seeds in each one! After that we put the in our fridge because they are native to Massachusetts and need to go though winter to be able to grow. Now that about four moths had passed it is time to wake them up and plant them. So either today or tomorrow me and my mom are going to take them out of the fridge and warm them up to 75 degrees Fahrenheit for 24 hours. Then we are going to plant them in our back yard underneath the trees because the sprout are really sensitive to sunlight. I live in Massachusetts so the wont be a non-native plant which i am happy about. That is my pawpaw experimant so far!

Welcome!

Hi. My name is Katherine and I am just starting this blog. My website will be about native plants, endangered animals, and experiments with nature. I live in Massachusetts and I am most likely to talk about Massachusetts wildlife. I love cats and reading, so I am also likely to talk about my three cats and cool books I have read. I am making this website for my girl scouts bronze award and my capstone project. I am also making this website so I can inform people around the world about endangered animals and native plants and their importance. I hope you like my website and get to learn many cool things from my website.
